GriefShare starts at Dogwood tonight
Dogwood Church, 975 Highway 74 North in Tyrone, will offer a GriefShare support group held on Wednesday evenings beginning May 6, from 7 -9 p.m.  The group will meet in the Atrium area of the churchoffice. National Day of Prayer is tomorrow
The prayer team at Christ’s Church at Whitewater  will lead in prayer for God’s healing and blessing for the country on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7, at noon, at the Gazebo on the square in Fayetteville. Several local ministers will lead in prayers.  Special music will be provided by Mary Spearman, guest soloist. Weekend yard sale planned
St. Gabriel Catholic Church and the St. Vincent de Paul Society will host a yard sale Friday, May 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The church is at 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville.

Concert planned to showcase new organ
To commemorate the installation of the new organ at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, members will host an an inaugural concert on Sunday, May 17 at 4 p.m., in the worship center at 225 Robinson Road, featuring special guest artist Tom Alderman, organist and music associate at Roswell United Methodist Church. A free will offering will be received, and an ice cream social will follow the concert.
