Students at Flat Rock Middle School recently lined up to visit the booth of the Georgia Department of Education’s school nutrition division, a participant in the school’s recent career fair.
Robert Wheeler, an area consultant with the state’s school nutrition division, talked to students about the responsibilities of his job, education and training requirements, salary outlook, and future job demand.
Although there were no food samples, students were eager to talk to Wheeler about career fields in school nutrition.
