The Olivet church in Fayetteville continues its Women’s Emphasis Month with noonday Bible studies and evening worship services planned for each Wednesday in March.
A culminating Women’s Day celebration will be held on Sunday, March 29.
This year’s theme is “A 21st Century Christian Woman, Building God’s House from the Inside Out,” from Proverbs 14:1.
All Wednesday Bible studies are held at noon and all Wednesday night services are at 7 p.m.
Beginning in the afternoon, several Women of Olivet have been selected to teach from Women of the Bible. Today, March 11 will feature the Rev. Dr. Casina Washington, March 18, Sister Shirley Ball and March 25, Trustee Carolyn Harris.
A different speaker also is scheduled for each Wednesday night.
Tonight, March 11, Lady Libby Pollard, first lady of Enon Church in Atlanta, will speak.
On March 18, Lady Yolanda Creecy of The Olivet Church in Fayetteville will speak.
And on March 25, Minister Gail Sutton, first lady of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta, will speak.
On Sunday, March 29, The Women of Olivet will celebrate Women’s Day with services at 8 and 11 a.m. led by Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie, presiding prelate of the 10th Episcopal District, State of Texas, and national chaplain of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
All Olivet Services are open to the public. The church is in North Fayetteville at 877 Ga. Highway 314 North. The servant/pastor/teacher is the Rev. Dr. William Holmes Robinson.
