The Fayette County Extension office will offer a propagation workshop on Saturday, March 14.
The workshop, “Starting Plants from Seeds; Cost Effective Ways to Garden,” begins at 10 a.m.
The workshop will answer many questions on how to begin plants from seed.
- Do you want to save money on plants?
- Do you know how to start a plant from a tiny seed?
- How deep to plant?
- How much to water?
The class is limited to 20 participants because this is a hands-on workshop where participants will work with potting soil, seeds and other materials.
A $10 registration fee, payable in advance, is required for the workshop. The fee includes a binder of color materials and a take home planted seed.
Register and pay with cash, credit card or check at the Extension Office, Suite 209, 140 Stonewall Ave. W., Suite 209, Fayetteville. Payment can also be mailed to the office with the names and contact information of participants.
