Elizabeth Jones King, 63

Mrs. Elizabeth Jones King, 63, of Ft. Myers, Fla., died February 28, 2015.  

She was born and raised in Fayetteville, Ga. and was a kindergarten teacher for 22 years at North Fayette Elementary. She also taught children at Southwest Florida Christian Academy until her retirement in 2012.  She was currently a member of McGregor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers.  She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who loved her family and her Lord.

Beth was preceded in death by her father Spencer L. Jones.  

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Jim King; son Spencer & Meg King of Smyrna; daughter Sarah & Scott Percy of Marietta; grandchildren Benjamin Percy and Hattie King; mother Pauline H. Jones of Fayetteville; brother Larry Jones of Columbia, S.C.; mother-in-law Virginia S. King of Union City, Ga.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.  Rev. Hugh Kirby will officiate.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 -12.
