Fertilizers are only beneficial to plants when used properly. But decoding the information on a container can be difficult.
Learn how to read fertilizer bags, which ones to use for specific types of plants, how to interpret soil reports and about making environmentally sound decisions in landscaping from the Fayette County Extension staff.
A free Extension class called “Fertilizers Decoded” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. in Room 210 of the Administrative Complex at 140 Stonewall Avenue in Fayetteville.
Participants are welcome to bring lunch.
Please RSVP so seating and materials are available. The Tuesday classes last about one hour. RSVP via e-mail to uge2113@uga.edu with the name(s) of those attending and contact information or call the Extension office at 770-305-5412 ext. 7.
