0Basketball season in Fayette County is not over yet.
The Fayette County Lady Tigers punched their ticket for the AAAA state Final Four with a 58-50 win at home Tuesday night over Monroe.
That sets up a semifinal battle Saturday at 3 p.m. against Buford, who downed St. Pius 59-55.
Following the FHCS-Buford will be the other semifinal, Carrollton vs. Marist, at 6:30 p.m.
Both semifinal games will be at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.
The state championship for AAAA girls will be Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the Macon Centreplex.
