Southern Crescent Chorale will make its eleventh appearance at Spivey Hall on Saturday, March 7 at 8 p.m.

The concert, entitled “Americana,” is designed to fill hearts with joy.

As part of the season theme “Salute to America,” the Chorale will delight the audience with the performance of American folk songs, hymns, and spirituals. A versatile group of musicians, the Chorale will sing challenging and beautiful selections of many favorites, including “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” “America the Beautiful,” “God of Our Father,” “Shenandoah,” and “Cindy.”

“This concert will run the gamut of emotions,” said Artistic Director and Conductor Janice Folsom. “The wide variety of musical styles will make you want to tap your toes and wipe away tears. There will be something for everyone.”
