Judy L. Thompson, 64, of Fayetteville

Judy L. Thompson, 64, a lifelong resident of Fayetteville, passed away February 2, 2015 after a short battle with cancer.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt, as well as sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. W. and Dorothy M. Lunsford, and her brother, William S. Lunsford.

She is survived by her son, Keith Thompson and his wife, Stephanie; granddaughter, Kassidy Thompson; her brother, James T. Lunsford and his wife, Lane Tallant Lunsford; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The family received friends on Wednesday evening, February 4, 2015, at the funeral home.
