Florine Tucker McBrayer, of Fayetteville

Mrs. Florine Tucker McBrayer, of Fayetteville, died January 17, 2015.

She loved her family and was always her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s biggest sports fan. She was an active member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church and worked over 45 years as a hair stylist in Fayette County.

She is survived by her daughter Mickie & Alan Haney of Fayetteville; daughter Brenda & Jim Hall of Fayetteville; daughter Tina & Gary Varnadoe of LaGrange; son Mike & Kathy McBrayer of Senoia; 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister Ethel Maddox and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Overton Chapel at Fayetteville First Baptist Church. She will lie in state at 10 a.m. Rev. Glenn Stringham will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florine’s memory to the Overton Chapel Renovation Fund at Fayetteville First Baptist Church.
