Anderson Wright English, 24, passed away on January 13, 2015, after losing his struggle with Substance Use Disorder.
Born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Anderson moved to and was raised in Peachtree City, Ga. He graduated from Starr’s Mill High School in 2009. In the summer of 2012, Anderson became involved with A Better Way Ministries where he came to understand and embrace the unconditional love and saving grace of his savior, Jesus Christ. Anderson was a bright and gifted young man, whose loving heart, wry smile, wonderful sense of humor, and love of music and nature are among the many reasons everyone loved him. Anderson will be greatly missed and always remembered by all whose hearts he touched.
In addition to his parents, Lewis and Elaine English, he is survived by his loving sister, Danielle and her husband Charles Scholfield of Tucson, Ariz., his maternal grandparents, Cynthia and John Burkey of Peachtree City, Ga., and paternal grandmother, Margaret Truitt, of Albany, Ga. Anderson also leaves many wonderful and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Services were held at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church on January 20, 2015.
