Dads, daughters dance all night

After Hollywood’s Golden Globe awards show on Sunday, it’s time to prepare for Peachtree City’s own red carpet event – the annual Father/Daughter Dance.

Registration is underway for the big event set for Saturday, Feb. 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center at 202 Fieldhouse Drive.

Girls 6 to 12-years-old and dads of all ages can dance the night away while a DJ spins some of their favorite tunes. The evening will include light refreshments, and a keepsake photo.

Online registration is available at www.peachtree-city.org/recreation, and in-person registration is accepted at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center. The price is $45 per couple and $20 for each additional daughter. For couples who reside outside of Fayette County, the cost is $65. Fathers also have the opportunity to order a wrist corsage for $10 when they register.
