Mrs. Juanita Messer Tucker, 84, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Southland Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 1, 1931 in Caroleen, N.C. to the late Heyward Powers and Gertrude Hollifield Powers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Tucker.
Juanita grew up in Spartanburg South Carolina and spent most of her life being a florist which she very much enjoyed.
Survivors include sons, Clyde Messer, Jim Messer and Doug Tucker; grandchildren, Keith Messer, Katie Tucker, Justin Messer and Brian Messer and several great-grandchildren.
The graveside funeral was Friday, January 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Cunningham officiating. The visitation was Friday at McKoon Funeral Home 38 Jackson St. Newnan, Ga.
