Holiday GriefShare set for tonight, Friday
“Surviving The Holidays” a special session of the GriefShare program for those who are grieving the death of a loved one, will be offered at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 101 Walt Banks Rd, in Peachtree City. Sessions will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 21 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. “Surviving The Holidays” can help cope and discover new reasons to enjoy the holidays. Summit plans Thanksgiving service
The Summit Church will host a Thanksgiving Service and lunch Sunday Nov. 23, at 11 am. Worship is informal and will be around tables. Children are welcome. St. Paul to host Pie Fellowship
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will host a Pie Fellowship and Thanksgiving Eve Service Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a pie to share. The service, followed by the pie fellowship, will be held in the upper level cafeteria. St. Paul Lutheran Church is at 700 Ardenlee Parkway, Peachtree City.
Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. ESL classes meet weekly
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults meet each Friday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, PCA, 101 Carriage Lane, Peachtree City. Classes are free and will continue through May 15, 2015. Students can join at any time. Childcare is provided. Genealogy classes offered Tuesdays
The LDS Church’s Fayetteville Family History lab offers free family history sessions on various topics and areas of research each Tuesday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m. The class meets at 2021 Redwine Road in Fayetteville.
