George North Sparrow, Jr. of Fayetteville passed away on November 15, 2014 at Southwest Christian Hospice in Union City.

He was a graduate of Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and was in private practice in the Atlanta area for 44 years, several years as attorney for the City of East Point.

He was the son of the late George North Sparrow and Sarah Holland Sparrow of Tifton.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Nolan Sparrow; sons George Sparrow III and Greg (Angelique) Sparrow with two grandchildren; brothers, Henry (Linda) Sparrow and Paul (Debbie) Sparrow.

Visitation from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Fayetteville, and services held on Friday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
