Students of Legacy Preparatory Academy (LPA) in Sharpsburg spent the month of October creating models of the solar system.
They presented their creations to teachers and fellow students Oct. 30.
Students in first through fifth grades learned the names and characteristics of all eight planets in the solar system. LPA also went to Fernbank to look inside the Planetarium and learn more about man’s first trips into space exploration.
