Hopewell’s Fall Festival is tonight
Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will host a Fall Festival tonight, Oct. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. The festival will feature “Touch the Truck,” with fire trucks, trash trucks, and other vehicles, as well as Face Painting/Tattoo Station, Bouncy Castle, Decorate a Pumpkin, Mummy Wrap, and a costume contest with prizes for ages 3-12. Providence Trunk or Treat starts at 6:30
Providence UMC invites the community to Trunk or Treat this evening, Oct. 29, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the front church parking lot. The event will include fun for the kids with inflatables.” Children should wear non-scary costumes. Veterans Tribute concert is Saturday
Veterans Tribute, a concert, will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. Holy Trinity Choirs will combine with Music Alive, a community chorus, to present a concert of patriotic pieces. Claire Stroud, music director at Holy Trinity, and Linda Hooper, director of Music Alive, are joining choirs again to bring this evening of music.
Special GriefShare session set
Facing the holidays after the death of a loved one can be a difficult time. GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a special one session program to help not only survive the holidays, but to find strength, healing and tools to help move forward. Prophet Training sessions planned
