Olivet’ Church’s 23rd anniversary celebration starts next Wednesday

The Olivet Church in Fayetteville will begin its 23rd Church Anniversary celebration with the first of four Wednesday night services next Wednesday, Sept. 3, and a final Sunday Anniversary Service on Sunday, Sept. 28. The theme this year is “We’ve Come This Far by Faith — Let Us Rise Up and Build.” Wednesday night services are at 7 p.m. nightly.

A different speaker is scheduled each Wednesday night.

On Sept. 3, Dr. Maurice Watson, senior pastor of Beulahland Bible Church in Macon and Warner Robins will speak.

On Sept. 10, Dr. Kerwin Lee, senior pastor of Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain will speak.

On Sept. 17, Dr. Freddie Haynes III, senior pastor of Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, will speak.

And on Sept. 24, Dr. Jeffrey Johnson, senior pastor of Eastern Star Church in Indianapolis, Ind., will speak.

On Sunday, Sept, 28, members will celebrate their 23rd Church Anniversary at 8 and 11 a.m. with a word from Dr. Calvin McFadden, senior pastor of St. John’s Congregational Church in Springfield, Mass.

Olivet worship services are open to the public. Everyone is welcome.

The Olivet Church was founded in 1991. It is located in the heart of North Fayetteville, 877 Ga. Hwy. 314 North between Ga. Hwys. 138 and 85.

Sunday worship is at 8 and 11 a.m. and Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. The servant/pastor/teacher is Dr. William Holmes Robinson.
