Last month, the first in a series of Coffee & Classics events at Christian City was well attended by residents and guests. The evening, hosted by The Christian City Arts Alliance, included live music performed by vocalists and the Peachtree Pops String Quintet. Gourmet coffee and desserts were served to patrons of the arts who filled the Welcome Center.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, as represented by these quotes from attendees: “A highly entertaining first time event. Coffee & Classics at Christian City is a real arts dream come true!” and “Coffee & Classics made my heart leap…I could not hold back the tears. Simply beautiful!”
This month, the second event in the series will be held from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. July 24 at the Welcome Center. Guests can once again enjoy live music performed by the Peachtree Pops String Quintet and vocalists. Refreshments will be a light gourmet meal served as the evening begins. RSVPs are requested and both residents of Christian City and the general public are welcome.
