Looking for a wealth of music, food and entertainment this weekend? Look no further than the Senoia Social in downtown Senoia. The day long event begins Saturday at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 a.m.

The main focus of the day-long social will be live performances by artists such as The Stellas with special guests Lennon and Maisy, John Driskell Hopkins and Brighter Side, Humming House, Paris Luna, Reuben’s Bell, Best Brothers Band and Jayron Weaver.

The social, now in its second year, will also feature a variety of food and a beer garden, rides and activities for the kids at the Kids Zone and, of course, plenty of opportunities for shopping in Senoia’s many retail offerings.

Organizers said this year’s event is expected to be even bigger, attracting up to 12,000 people.

As is customary for so many events, the downtown area will be closed. Beyond parking in the immediate downtown area, free shuttle service will be provided from the ball fields on Howard Road and from Starr’s Mill Academy on Ga. Highway 74 near Redwine Road.

The Senoia Social is co-sponsored by the nonprofit Camp Southern Ground and the Senoia Downtown Development Authority.
