Whitewater to hold yard sale June 28
Whitewater Church will have a church-wide Yard Sale on Saturday, June 28, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. to benefit the new addition for classrooms and offices. The church is at 1144 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville. Items for sale include books, children’s clothing, housewares, home decor (some brass and copper), lamps and more.
COS to observe God & Country Weekend
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites all to celebrate God and Country Weekend June 28-29, in observation of Independence Day. All four services will include readings from the nation’s founding documents, and patriotic music is planned for both the congregation and special groups. Guest musicians will be Cart Path Chorus, Peachtree City’s barbershop chorus under the direction of Roger Beale. Services are Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m. The church is on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Hwy. 54.
LDS schedules family history class
The Fayetteville Family History Lab will present a lesson on Military Record Sources of the United States Wednesday, July 2 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2021 Redwine Road.
