0Third grade students at Peachtree City Elementary School celebrated the culmination of their Mini Society unit with a Market Day. Classrooms worked together to build their own mini-nations, complete with individual currencies, economies, and job positions. Students then worked with partners to design a product, produce it, and market it to their peers. All activities were tied back to their studies of economics, wants and needs, and laws of supply and demand. The budding entrepreneurs pictured are Justin Humes and Jonathan Paparo. Photo/Special.
