The two winning teams, led by SCHS Career/Tech teacher Melanie Duncan, will compete June 28–July 2 at the 2014 FBLA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, which will host over 8,000 students from around the world. In addition to competing in 60 national events, attendees will participate in business-related and leadership-development workshops, tour business and corporate facilities, and elect officers. This school year marks the first year for Sandy Creek to have an FBLA chapter, which has over 70 active members.
