Nativity sets Mardi Gras event
The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will hold a pancake feast and and Mardi Gras celebration from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4. Both events traditionally end the church’s pre-Lenten season in preparation for the start of Lent the next day. The church is at 130 Antioch Rd, Fayetteville. For more info, call  770-460-6390.

Order pinestraw, fertilizer now
Time is running out to place orders for the Peachtree City United Methodist Church’s 35th Annual Fertilizer and Pine Straw Sale.  Delivery dates will be the first two Saturdays in March. Products are priced comparably to big box retailers in the area and the men deliver to individual yards free of charge.  Place orders online at www.ptcumm.com or by calling 770-486-5331.

Heritage to host ladies’ conference
Barbara Barker will be the speaker at Heritage Reformed Baptist Church’s Ladies Winter Conference Friday evening March 14 at 7 p.m. and Saturday March 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Her husband, Dr. Frank Barker, will preach at the Sunday morning service at Heritage March 16. The cost is $15 which includes materials, continental breakfast and catered luncheon.
