Emory “Larry” Wright, Sr., 76, of Peachtree City, passed away February 20, 2014. He retired from Delta Airlines as a Senior Customer Service Agent. He coached little league baseball, loved taking children fishing and enjoyed camping with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Frances Wright and his brother David Wright. He is survived by his children Denise (Jim) Wehmoff, Rhonda Williams, Larry (Malania) Wright, Jr. and Tia (Gary) Boyce; grandchildren Larry III, Kelsey, Jessica, Alex, Justen, Trilbey, Sonya, Tiffany and Tevin; great-grandchildren Perry and Dakota; brother Emmett “Mac” Wright and his faithful companion, Lucky.
A funeral service was held Monday, February 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Pastor George Pangman officiated. Burial followed at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Sunday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
