LDS plans Valentine Dance
The Peachtree City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) will host an Adult (ages 18 and up) Valentines Dance Saturday, Feb. 8, from 7 – 10 p.m., at the church, 101, Peachtree Pkwy. South. There is  no charge; everyone is welcome.

COS will have ‘soul music’ service
“Soul for the Soul” is the music style at the 10:50 worship service on Feb. 9 at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. Special guest vocalist with the “Second Sundays Band” will be Reggie Johnson. All are invited who enjoy Soul and Rhythm-and-Blues music. The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

FAACE art show coming up
FAACE (Fine Arts and Crafts Entrepreneurs)will host an  Art With Heart Show on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The reception is Friday, Feb. 7, from 6-9 p.m. Both events are at St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree City. The public is invited.  A silent auction will benefit the Children’s Village at Christian City. For information, visit www.FAACE.org.

Family and Friends Day planned
New Hope United Methodist Church’s Annual Family and Friends Day will  be Sunday,  Feb. 16,  at 2:30 p.m.. The guest speaker will be  the Rev. Tamarkus Cook of St. Smyrna Baptist Church in Newnan. New Hope is at 272 Weldon Rd. Fayetteville. The Rev. Dr. Aubrey Thompson is the pastor.
