Mr. Leroy Edward Richardson, of LaGrange, died on January 25, 2014.
Mr. Richardson was born on December 13, 1939 in Lawrence, Mass. to the late Elmer and Pauline Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Lee Richardson and a brother, Peter Richardson.
Mr. Richardson proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired as owner of Stone Fence Farms Landscaping. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and a member of the Woolsey Masonic Lodge #334.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathryn (Kathy) Richardson; daughter, Beth Walls and her husband Tony of Carrollton; grandson, Tyler Walls and his fiancee Rachel Lundgren; granddaughter, Katie Beth Walls of Carrollton; sisters, Linda Evanoski of Plymouth, Conn., Judy Drunoff of Fayetteville, Ga., and Vanessa Weigold of Bristol, Conn.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lee was known for his love of his family, but more importantly, his love for God. He was a friend to many and was greatly loved.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. On line condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginslagrangechapel.com.
