Fayetteville Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the CVS store located at 480 North Glynn Street on Christmas Eve.
Lt. Mike Whitlow said the robbery occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. when a white male walked into the CVS store, told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
“The suspect kept his hand in his right pocket indicating he was holding a weapon. The cashier gave the suspect money from the register and the suspect fled on foot,” Whitlow said.
Whitlow said Fayetteville units were in the area and responded within seconds. Police believe the suspect is still in the area and may have an accomplice who is also on foot.
The male was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt over a white t-shirt, a white baseball cap with a blue bill, camouflaged pants and blue tennis shoes with pink laces, Whitlow said.
Fayetteville Police and Fayette County deputies are still searching the area and are asking that anyone with information about this suspect to contact the Fayette County 911 Center at 770-461-4357.
