Frances M. Kolts, 107, of Peachtree City passed away October 28, 2013.

She grew up in Hoboken, N.J. where her father was a Steamboat Captain in the New York Harbor. She graduated from Business School and worked for a Stock Broker on Wall Street in New York City. Later she was a partner and Office Manager with her husband, Harvey Kolts in Kolts Electric Supply Company in Kingston, NY. Since moving to Peachtree City in 1994 she was a Volunteer at Piedmont Fayette Hospital when it opened, volunteer at The Gathering Place and the Pioneer Club, active in the “Holy Folders” of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a life-long member of the Eastern Star.

She lived with her daughter and son-in-law until 2010 when she moved to the Heritage of Peachtree. As her health declined she moved to Southland Nursing Home. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey S. Kolts and brother Norman Spinneweber. She is survived by her daughter Irene “Reenie” (Francis) Sullivan of Peachtree City; grandchildren Daniel (Joana) Sullivan of East Norrington, Pa., Timothy (Debbie) Sullivan of Marietta, Kenneth (Elaine) Sullivan of Newtown, Ct. and Francis “Frank” (Megan) Sullivan, III of Marietta and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Peachtree City with refreshments to follow. The burial will be in Kingston, NY at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church.
