PTCUMC cancels Trunk or Treat
Peachtree City United Methodist Church has cancelled its Trunk or Treat activity scheduled for Oct. 26. The official statement issued by the church states, “This year’s Trunk or Treat will not take place on Saturday, Oct. 26. We want to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to providing this fun, family event next year.”
Cornerstone Baptist plans yard sale, fair
Cornerstone Baptist Church will host a Fall Yard Sale and Community Fair with fun activities for the entire family Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m . Inman UMC will host Trunk or Treat
Inman United Methodist Church will host a free Trunk or Treat night of fun and fellowship Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5:30-8 p.m. at the church, 151 Hillsbridge Rd. in Inman. Georgia Singers to perform in PTC
The Georgia Singers, a choral organization of talented girls and women from the Fayetteville area, will perform at the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City during its regular 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Oct. 27. Gendercide movie on tap at WOG
Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites the public to a free showing of the movie “It’s a Girl” on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. The movie is for those 17 years of age and older. The 63-minute movie is a documentary on gendercide in India and China and serves as a powerful witness to what can happen to any society when the dignity of all life fails to receive respect and protection. Holy Trinity’s Craft Bazaar set for Nov. 9
Holy Trinity Catholic Church will host its Annual Craft Bazaar Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. The event will feature a huge selection of handmade crafts including jewelry, wood working, Christmas decorations and many gift ideas. Food will include homemade tamales, chili, nachos and a variety of baked goods. All proceeds will benefit the Catholic Heart Work Camp Mission Trip in June, 2014. Summit offers free tutoring
The Family Resource Center at The Summit Presbyterian Church offers free tutoring for elementary and high school students. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 4-5 and 5-6 p.m. Help is offered in math, reading, homework, science, and language arts. Tutors are supervised by certified teachers.
