Mr. Hoyt E. Thompson of Fairburn passed away September 25, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estes and Ella Dorsey and brother, Tom Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Mary Lou Payne Thompson of Fairburn; daughters, Deborah Mathis and her husband Mark of Sharpsburg; Lynn Kennedy and her husband Ray of Bowdon; Jessica Aultman and her husband Roy of Fairburn; grandchildren, Hilary Parker; Courtney Watson; Chelsie Mathis; Haley Hand; Cody Mathis; great grandchildren, Macie Nolan; Colton Landers; Cru Watson; Raegan Garner and sisters, Jane Phillips of Charlotte, N.C.; Becky Hodgins of Roopville and Janice Youngblood of Newnan.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Waldron officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
