The awards and presentations at McIntosh High School were numerous Tuesday as state school Superintendent John Barge proclaimed McIntosh a 2013 Georgia School of Excellence. McIntosh was one of only 28 schools across the state to receive the distinction. The school also received a $1,000 check from the Ga. Natural Gas True Blue Schools program and staff were told they would receive free massages courtesy of United Healthcare. Accepting the award from Barge (L) is MHS Principal Lisa Fine.
