Dorothy Gray Hayes, age 90, passed away on August 17, 2013.
She was born on July 2, 1923 the only child to the late Eugene and Mandy Belle Gray in Port Arthur, Texas. She was raised in Texas and attended nursing school until she met and married Navy Ensign Robert M. Hayes of Mississippi in January 1943.
She is survived by her four children, two sons, Michael E. Hayes and Dallas G. Hayes and two daughters, Linda H. Singleton and Robbie H. Mangum. She is also survived by 15 grand-children, 25 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Dorothy Gray Hayes will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Ga. Visitation with the family will be held from 10 a.m. until service time.
