Wild and exciting winged outlaw sprint car racing will headline the two-day USCS Senoia Summer Nationals IV (2013) racing program at Senoia Raceway August 16 and 17. The United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters “Outlaw Thunder” Tour (www.uscsracing.com) roars into the high-banked 3/8-mile red clay oval for the 4th annual USCS Senoia Summer Nationals. This event is race number 23 and 24 on the 17th Anniversary schedule for the nationally touring USCS drivers.

This will be the one and only visit scheduled of the 2013 season for the USCS winged sprint cars to Senoia Raceway. These races will award national points as well as USCS Southern Thunder Tour regional series standings.  The USCS Southern Thunder regional series consists of races in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Eastern Tennessee and both Carolinas.
The two-night special event is expected to bring top winged outlaw sprint car drivers from at least six states to the track. The exotic fire breathing, alcohol burning, 700 horsepower open wheel cars weight just 1,300 pounds, and are pound for pound the World’s most powerful short track race cars.  The cars will literally fly around the track surface at speeds over 120 mph.  It is not uncommon to see USCS sprint cars popping “wheelies” or doing wheel stands because of the brute force of their engines and their huge 17-inch wide rear tires.

Friday night’s Outlaw sprint car action will feature a full program of racing in the outlaw sprint cars that includes test and tune hot laps followed by the evening’s first sprint car race, the Hoosier Speed Dash that showcases the top six cars from the previous USCS main event in an edge-of-your-seat six-car shootout.  Next up will be qualifying heat races and a Last Chance/B-Main race. The evening’s grand finale will be the USCS Sprint Car A-main event.

Saturday night’s USCS Senoia Summer Nationals IV racing format includes another full program of USCS presented by K&N Filters  Outlaw style sprint car racing action that will once again include test and tune hot laps followed by the evening’s first sprint car race, the Hoosier Speed Dash, qualifying heat races and a Last Chance/B-Main race. The evening’s grand finale will be the 30-lap Summer Nationals IV Championship main event.

The Senoia Raceway Summer Nationals IV Late Model Challenge event continues on Saturday night with round two. Saturday night’s action-packed racing card also includes another full racing program in the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series mini sprints plus the B-Cadet, Hobby, Mini Stock and Bomber weekly racing division each contest a full program of racing action.
