Bette Lou Ryff of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away on July 25, 2013 at the age of 87. Married 65 years to her loving husband, Robert Joseph Ryff (1922-2011), Bette retired from Northwestern Bell after serving more than 30 years with the company. Starting their family in New York, Bette and ‘Bob’ spent a number of years living in St. Paul, Minn., before retiring in south Fla. to spend their later years dancing on the beach.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she adored her family and cherished her time with them throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Morris and Lura Pedersen; her sisters Viola Ellis and Doris Otto.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Landais, of Newnan, Ga.; grandchildren, Bryan Lehrer (Marife) of Davie, Fla., Dana Wollschlager (Tod) of Cottage Grove, Minn., Andy Ryff (Dionne) of Fayetteville, Ga., and Conrad Landais and his fiancé Patrick Flynn of Palisades Park, N.J.; great-grandchildren, Brandi Lehrer, Cassandra Wollschlager, Drake and Jolie Ryff, and Tyler Singer. She is also survived by her brother, Harold Pedersen (Genevieve) of Helena, Mont. and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on July 29, 2013 at 1p.m., visitation begins at noon at the Carmichael Hemperley Funeral Home – 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, Ga. 30269.
