Praise dance extravaganza set for July 27
Bethlehem Baptist Church will hold its annual praise dance extravaganza at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 27.  The event will feature praise dance teams from various local churches.  The entire community is invited.  Bethlehem Baptist Church is at 475 Dividend Drive, Peachtree City, near the entrance to Falcon Field.

Holly Grove plans Family & Friends Day
Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will hold its annual Family and Friends Day at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 27.  The church is at 400 Holly Grove Church Road, Peachtree City, just off the south end of Robinson Road. The senior pastor at Holly Grove is the Rev. Larry Ervin.

Parenting classes start Aug. 14 at NHBC
National Heights Baptist Church, in conjunction with the United Methodist Children’s Home, will be offering Active Parenting Courses on Wednesdays  Aug. 14-Sept. 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Registration is required.  The cost is $15 for class materials. RSVP to Bonita at 404-327-5860 or bhardwick@umchildrenshome.org.  Plan to arrive at 6 p.m. for the first class to fill out paperwork.  A light snack is served, and a Certificate of Completion is provided to those who complete the class.  Free childcare will be provided by the children’s ministry volunteers at National Heights. The church is at 103 Old Norton Road, Fayetteville.

New Church VBS starts July 29
The New Church of Peachtree City, an ECO Presbyterian Church, will offer Sonwest Roundup VBS, July 29 – Aug. 2. from 9 a.m.-noon at the Methodist Annex, 225 S. Peachtree Parkway. Prayer group meets at Summit
A community prayer group meets at The Summit Family Resource Center, 1373 Ga. Highway 92 S. Fayetteville, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday mornings.  This is an inter-denominational event. Everyone is invited. Call 770-460-3335 for more information.

Word of Life FMC offers relationship class
Word of Life Free Methodist Church in Fayetteville offers Relationships 101 classes each third Friday of the month from 7-9 p.m.  The church is at 405 Fayette Place, Fayetteville, behind the Dairy Queen in the Harvest Community Shopping Center, in front of the Wings and Things Restaurant.

‘Summer Nights’ continues through July 31
Heritage Christian Church in Fayetteville will host ‘Summer Nights’ on Wednesdays, July 24 and 31. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the indoor drama begins at 7 p.m. with hilarious skits, high energy music, a family game show, and interactive Bible stories.
