National Heights yard sale coming up
National Heights Baptist Church will host a Church-wide Yard Sale/Bake Sale Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.  Items for sale include but are not limited to books, clothes, furniture, electronics, deep freezer and kitchen supplies.  All proceeds are going to help offset the ministries and mission of National Heights Baptist.  NHBC is located on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Old Norton Road.

CDM will host summer revivals
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) will host summer revival meetings with pastor Holder Mathison Thursday and Friday,  June 6-7, at 8 p.m. each evening. For further information and/or directions,  contact the CDM office, 770-969-8370. No nursery or child care will be provided.

Brooks UMC offers dance class
Brooks United Methodist Church will offer swing fusion dance lessons for a four week session beginning June 8.The price is $35 per person for the entire session or $10 per person for a drop-in lesson. Fayette Presbyterian VBS
Fayette Presbyterian Church will have VBS July 8-12, from 9 a.m.- noon.  The theme this year is “Everywhere Fun Fair-Where God’s World Comes Together.”  Children entering grades K-fifth are invited to participate. Registration is free, and will be available June 3 on the church website, www.fayettepcusa.org.  Activities will include crafts, games, snacks, music, and Bible stories. Free VBS at Providence UMC
Providence UMC invites all children entering kindergarten through fifth grade to join the fun at Kingdom Rock Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m.-noon June 10-14. VBS is free and will feature  games, experiments, snacks and  music. VBS t-shirts and CDs are $5 each. PTCUMC OFFERS GriefShare
 GriefShare sessions at Peachtree City United Methodist Church are open to anyone in the community grieving the loss of a friend or loved one,  and/or those who who need to connect with others going through the same journey. The sessions are on Thursdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Robinson Road Campus in Room 308. For information, contact Wanda Andereck, 770-716-8306.

VBS at FFUMC is June 24-28
Vacation Bible School at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will meet the week of June 24-28 from 9 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. for Kingdom Rock. Children ages three (as of 1/1/2013) through fifth grade are invited to enter the epic adventure that empowers kids to stand strong. Cost is $5 per child (if registered before June 1). Divorce Care meets at PTCUMC
Divorce Care, for those going through or who recently experienced a divorce, will meet from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday evening at the Robinson  Road Campus of Peachtree City United Methodist Church in Room 300. The sessions are open to everyone and one may join at anytime during the 14 weeks the classes are in session. Word of Life FMC offers relationship class
Word of Life Free Methodist Church in Fayetteville offers Relationships 101 classes each third Friday of the month from 7-9 p.m.  The church is at 405 Fayette Place, Fayetteville, behind the Dairy Queen in the Harvest Community Shopping Center, in front of the Wings and Things Restaurant.

Prayer group meets at Summit
A community prayer group meets at The Summit Family Resource Center, 1373 Ga. Highway 92 S. Fayetteville, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday mornings.  This is an inter-denominational event. Everyone is invited. Call 770-460-3335 for more information.
