Gerald Duane Wolfley, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away March 29, 2013.
He was born and lived most of his life in Topeka, Kansas. He owned and managed his own Construction Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd Nathaniel Wolfley and Gertrude Peterson Wolfley and his brother Donald E. Wolfley.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wolfley of Fayetteville; son Brian (Barbara) Wolfley; daughters Linette (Kevin)Moran, Melissa Wolfley; grandchildren, Bradley D. Wolfley, Amy A. Wolfley, Brandon J. Moran, Shamus K. Moran and Bronwyn J. Moran; 2 step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Gabriel, Fayetteville. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. A graveside service will be held at a later time in Topeka, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to a fund established to pay for the extreme medical needs of a child in their family who has required complex brain surgeries every few years of his life.
