FPC youth will sponsor ‘Souper Bowl’ event to fight local hunger

The Fayette Presbyterian Church (FPC) youth group will sponsor its annual “Souper” Bowl during the Super Bowl football game Sunday, Feb. 3. The youth group will host the party to watch the Super Bowl game on the fellowship hall’s big screen.

The youth group will also have a Chili Soup Cook-Off. Member and visitor chili soup dishes, including appetizers and desserts, will be received at 5 p.m., with “dinner” by 5:30 pm. The game starts at 6:30. The inside tailgate party will continue through half-time.

The “Souper Bowl of Caring” was established to benefit local efforts in fighting hunger. Visitors are welcome. Contact the church office for more information, 770-461-7147.
