Kitty Jo Ward, 83, of Peachtree City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.
She was born in 1929 to Walter & Mary E. Beene in Petros, Tenn. Mrs. Ward worked as an accountant. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Ward.
She is survived by her daughter Katy Linteris & husband Richard of Peachtree City; son Keith Ward of Charlottesville, Va.; granddaughters Elizabeth Ann Linteris Chapman & husband Edgar of Wildwood, Mo., Jennifer Mary Linteris Travis & husband Joseph of Peachtree City; great-grandchildren Mary Kate Chapman, Andrew Chapman, Noah Bigham, Peyton Bingham, Ava Travis, Ansley Travis, Jack Travis; sister Betty Warren of Knoxville, Tenn. & brother Walter Beene of Fayetteville, W Va. along with several nieces & nephews.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Drew Elling & Dr. David Miller officiating.
The family received friends Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City, Ga.
