Mrs. Deborah Wood Puckett, of Fayetteville, passed away on Dec. 29, 2012 at the age of 61.
Deborah was a generous, giving, wife, mother and Nana who was devoted to her family and her Lord. She had a servant spirit and was always looking for ways to help others. She was a great listener and trusted confidant who was willing to help in any situation. Deborah was a member of the Way of Life Community Church in Tyrone and a supporter of Northstar Pastoral Ministries.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Puckett; son Christopher Puckett of Fayetteville; daughter Heather Trompke and husband Matt of Fayetteville; grandchildren Josh Trompke, Micaella Rutland, Cody Trompke, Benji Rutland, Zach Rutland, and Nathan Trompke.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Pastor Greg Mallett officiated. Interment followed at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
The family received friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
