JoAnn Lester, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away Dec. 23, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert, her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by son Keith and (Diane) Lester of Tyrone; daughter Cynthia Lynn and (Gary) Hollis of Hampton, daughter Karen and (Noel) Harmsen of Fayetteville; grandchildren T.J., Heather, Kevin, Christopher, Amanda and Maggie; great-grandchildren Grant, Eli and William; sister Marge Gersten of Fayetteville; sister-in-law Darlene Lester of Senoia; one niece and two nephews.

A funeral service was held Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The Reverend J.W. Wallis and Reverend David Smith officiated.
