At the tire store, widow finds Christmas angel

I met a Christmas angel and I want to share it with everyone. Money has been tight and I needed tires for my truck. The metal was showing and in the rain I skidded and almost lost control.

I managed to scrape up $200 [and] went by the tire store to get a price on two tires.

While I was waiting for the guy to show me the tires, I started talking to a black gentleman. I heard him tell someone on the phone he was “on his face.”

After he got off the phone, I asked him what that meant.

He said he was a landscaper and business was slow. I told him I was on “my face” too. My truck had torn up and everything seems to happen at once.

The [tire store] guy came back and said the tires would be $275. I told him I would be back; I needed to get some more money.

The black man said, “Put the tires on for her; I will take care of it.”

I told him no, no, I couldn’t let him do that.

He basically told me it was taken care of and that was it.

We talked and he told me that God puts us here to help others when they need it. We talked while the tires were being put on my truck. He left the room and came back and said the guy installing the tire said I needed another tire on the front, it was ready to blow.

I said I would get it later. Long story short, when I went to pay for my tires, the man had left.

He had three tires put on my truck, and he paid for ALL three tires.

I had never seen him before in my life, and I began to cry. I couldn’t believe that a stranger would do that.

You see things like this happen on television, but it happened to me.

I know God will send him landscape work. I believe he is one of God’s children spreading the word to help others and be kind and love one another.

That was my Christmas angel.
