Mr. Richard S. Clifford, age 83, born in Galveston, Texas and a resident of Peachtree City, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lorene Crutcher Clifford and is survived by his son, Stephen W. Clifford and wife, Pam Shook of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter, Martha Jean Farrell and husband, Richard of Peachtree City; grandsons, Patrick, Robert and Douglas Farrell; sister in-law, Grace Clifford; several nieces and nephews in Galveston, Texas.
An avid fisherman, Mr. Clifford started his aviation career at Delta Airlines as a baggage handler and after several positions retired after 44 years as Regional Station Manager.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec.r 1, 2012 at 2pm in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating.† Inurnment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
