Jamie Carol Hooper and Dr. Alfred John Fernandez, Jr., were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012. The bride’s parents are Jim and Nancy Hooper of Peachtree City.
The groom’s parents are Alfred and Denise Fernandez of Roswell.
The ceremony and reception were held at The Veranda Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn, Senoia, Ga. Officiates were Rev. Carson Pittman, Associate Pastor of Atlanta Westside Church, and Rev. Paul Halsey, uncle of the bride.
Bridal party of twenty-four friends and family were attendants. Among them were matrons of honor, Mrs. Scott (Julia) Stone and Mrs. Kevin (Sarah) Williams, bride’s sisters; Mrs. Julian (Abby) Hollar, groom’s sister, a bridesmaid; child attendants Chloe Williams and Dakota Stone, flower girls; Saul Stone and Elijah Williams, ring bearers.
The groom chose his father as best man. The groom’s parents honored the couple with a Spanish Fiesta rehearsal dinner at the Wyndham in Peachtree City.
Jamie is a 2005 graduate of McIntosh High School, Peachtree City. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. She is employed by LifeLine Children’s Services. Alfred “A.J.” is a 2001 graduate of Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He achieved his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida. He is employed at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where they met in October, 2011.
Following their honeymoon in Spain the couple now resides in Atlanta.
