Smith wins reelection to Coweta County Commission

In Coweta County, voters returned incumbent Democrat Al Smith to the District 5 post on the County Commission.

Smith defeated Republican Hayden Marlowe to retain his seat.

Coweta reported a turnout of more than 75 percent, with 55,774 voters casting ballots.

Al Smith (incumbent Democrat) – 4,126 (53.91%)

Hayden Marlowe (Rep) – 3,528 (46.09%)

Obama – 15,156 (27.30%)
