Mr. John Milton Stovall, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away on Nov. 3, 2012 at the age of 62.

John was an honorable man, whose love for his family, great moral values, and sense of humor made him a pleasure to be around. He was a driven individual who was very competitive, but always put the needs of others first. John was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and there were very few fish that he couldn’t outsmart. He was a dedicated employee of Delta Air Lines who began his career on the ramp and retired as an Aircraft Load Planner after 36 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Michelle Stovall; sons Michael Stovall of Hudson, Fla., Will Jacobs of Douglasville, Sam Stovall of Fayetteville; grandchildren Taytum Stovall, Mitchell Stovall, Jordan Smith, Alexis Jacobs, Ariana Jacobs, Tommy Jacobs, V; brother Ted Stovall and his wife Samantha of Woodbury, Tenn.; special cousin Marcia Helen Garrett; and numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Fayetteville Christian Church. Minister Andrew Higle will officiate. Interment will take place on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna, Ga.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Fayetteville Christian Church, P.O. Box 71, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214
