Brooks United Methodist has been offering Zumba and group personal training in the church gym. Those have been so popular that Tai Chi has been added on Monday and Thursday evenings and now Yoga-lates on Tuesday and Thursdays at 11 a.m.

Yoga-lates is a class fusion that implements the practices of Yoga and Pilates. This class is designed with everyone in mind and suits all levels. The class can increase flexibility and muscle strength, as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. A personal mat is suggested. Monthly passes are $35 and the drop in rate is $8 per class.)

Also, new to the program are nutrition and diet classes on Mondays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 7:45 p.m. Diet and nutrition can improve at least 75 percent of goals for fitness, health and wellness. Learn how to read food labels, plan nutritious meals, as well as calculate calorie needs and much more. The class is designed to implement easy nutritious techniques, as well as learn basic body measurements to record results. Add on to a monthly pass for $10 or take as a stand-alone class for $20 per month. Drop in for $5.
