On September 8, 1962 Ms. Jeanine Kenna wed Mr. William Thomas (Tom) Dunlap.
That was fifty years ago. Both grew up in Saint Albans, West Virginia and had just graduated high school. After eloping, the couple moved to Maryland with their first daughter, Terri, and while living there they welcomed another daughter, Cheryl. Shortly after, a son, Michael, was born in Virginia and the family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. There the couple was very much involved in coaching cheerleading and Little League baseball. All three of the Dunlap’s children graduated from Florida State University and began their own families. Tom and Jeanine have seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and one great granddaughter, six of whom live in Peachtree City.
After years of living in Florida and then later Texas, they moved to Peachtree City in 1998 and have lived there since. They are fully enjoying their retirement.
The couple will be celebrating their Golden Anniversary with family and friends this Labor Day weekend.
