Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I would like to encourage you to vote in the Georgia primary elections that will be held on July 31. Early voting is currently underway.
I specifically would like to encourage you to vote for Scott Hollowell who is running in the Republican primary for school board.
I have known Scott for several years and know that he has many qualities that make him the right person to make the right decisions for Fayette County Schools.
Among his experiences that make Scott Hollowell the obvious choice for school board are:
• Supports public schools — his children attend Kedron Elementary, active in PTO, family volunteers in various programs at Kedron, sponsor of school-wide events—his experience and familiarity with public schools will be assets when making decisions
• Attends board meetings — during past 3 years, has attended most board meetings which gives him an important historical perspective of important issues facing Fayette County Schools
• Works as a financial advisor in Fayette County — financial issues are the greatest challenge to Fayette County schools; Scott has real world financial experience that will be an extremely valuable asset to the school board as it makes tough decisions for challenging and changing times
Having worked in Fayette County Schools for almost twenty years as a teacher at Burch Elementary and as principal of Kedron Elementary, I know that the school board has difficult decisions to make regarding finances and preserving the excellent quality of education of which we are all so proud. Education of our children is our hope for the future. I know Scott Hollowell will work tirelessly to give this hope to all students in Fayette County.
